The Smart Vent ventilator now features synchronized intermittent mandatory ventilation (SIMV) with pressure support and pressure support with a backup mode (PSVPro), which expand clinical capabilities to help you meet the needs of your clients. Featuring electronic PEEP, apnea backup mode, and an adjustable flow trigger, both PSVPro and SIMV modes can help simplify efforts to provide care to spontaneously breathing patients. Examples of patients who may receive benefits in these ways include patients with AMLs, pediatric patients, and patients who cannot tolerate some anesthetic agents.
